This was cute, but I wasn't expecting the sudden ending. It didn't give enough of a resolution for me. Plus, I'm having a hard time seeing where the book could go next. I really liked the first book, but this one really felt like a bit of a repeat, only a little more frustrating since Elly doesn't seem to be growing up that much. I enjoyed it, but I just don't know if I'm going to read it again. I got a good deal on the book when it was on sale, but I don't know if I would have paid full price for it.

A bit formulaic but ultimately satisfying, the second in a series picks up speed. Still want to know the name of "Snarky Teenager!"
Totally enjoyed this book. I felt like I was right beside Elly living life with her. The ups and the downs. All the twist and turns. It was just a beautiful story.
I thoroughly enjoyed this second installment of the "Elly " series. It continued the adventures of Elly as she expands her florist business and begins a new romantic relationship. She also has to re-examine her feelings about family and loyalty when she discovers there are things about her past she never knew.
Elly in Love is a fun, light, easy read, and I look forward to reading the next book.
Love this series... It will keep you laughing from start to finish!!! I hope it doesn't take to long for the next one!!!
I really enjoyed reading this book. I wanted something fun and light for vacation and it fit the bill perfectly. Elly, the main character, is someone you can root for and relate to. It's both funny and touching. Great read.
Elly is a character that I enjoy reading. She is intelligent and witty, with a wonderful sense of sarcasm and humor. (And she has a healthy appreciation for a fantastic sandwich!)

This book was a great continuation of the first book, Elly in Bloom. I feel that sometimes, authors lose their way in book number two. Not so with Elly in Love; the characters developed, but stayed true to who they were from the beginning. There are honest mistakes, relatable problems, and wardrobe malfunctions...but that is life, right?

I can't wait to read the conclusion of Elly's story in book number three!
I really have been waiting for this second book. Elly did not disappoint me. She is witty, funny and fun loving. It is so great to find a fun read that has depth and romance and intrigue all wrapped together nice and neatly. Snarky Teenager is my favorite person, I see so many people I know in her (including myself!) ... and the fun part is to watch her grow and mature. The description of the flowers is magical, I can almost see the colors and I have decided that I want Rose pedals down the aisle for whatever event I am having (dream on!) Colleen's character development is so exciting, you think you know someone and ... it gets changed around makes for a fun and fast read. Thank you so much Colleen for another really good book. I could not put it down last night I just HAD to finish it.
